Regulation 35Amendment to the Electronic Communications (Universal Service) Order 2003
(1) In paragraphs 2(2) and 3(2) of the Schedule to the Electronic Communications (Universal Service) Order 2003 M1, for the words “Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999” there shall be substituted “ Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 ”.
(2) Paragraph (1) shall have effect notwithstanding the provisions of section 65 of the Communications Act 2003 M2 (which provides for the modification of the Universal Service Order made under that section).
